The H5i heated humidifier offers relief from dryness and congestion and integrates seamlessly with the S9 CPAP. Intuitive and easy to use, the S9 automatically detects when the H5i is connected. Once you have connected your H5i you are ready to go.
Climate Control
ResMed's new H5i Heated Humidifier is a completely new design. The Humidaire H5i incorporates a smart climate controlling system that contains a never seen before technology in CPAP called ClimateLine. The S9 manages the Climate Control system through a combination of the S9 machine, H5i humidifier and ClimateLine sensor enabled tubing. There are five sensors throughout the system that monitor ambient temperature and therapy airflow. The ClimateLine heated tubing uses a built-in mask temperature sensor located at the mask end of the tube, that measures the temperature of the air leaving the tube. Sensors inside and outside the CPAP machine closely monitor changes in humidity and help prevent condensation (rainout) from forming inside the tube.
SlimLine (Included) and ClimateLine Tubing (Optional)
The ResMed S9 Series CPAP machines come standard with the new ResMed SlimLine Tubing. The small diameter air tube is extremely light, flexible and provides a easy to manage alternative to bulky standard tubing.
The ClimateLine Tubing has an internal heated coil and mask end temperature sensor that helps manage rainout throughout the tubing. The Climate Control system measures temperature from the humidifier to help prevent condensation from forming in the tubing.
